General Description

The Director of Family Ministries and Ministry Operations is responsible for family ministries programming carried out at Life Church in weekly services as well as in special events. They will collaborate with the pastor and staff team and Life Church volunteers to create and implement programming for all ages from birth–highschool. 

Family Ministries

1. Recruit, train, equip and lead volunteers in the promotion, planning, & implementation of all Family Ministries programming. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: activities, curriculum, volunteer care, and events (such as Family Dedication Days and Youth Sunday)

2. Oversee & Implement the curriculum for Nursery, Toddlers, PreSchool & Elementary, Middle School, and High School environments 

3. Oversee & Implement Policies and Procedures to maintain Child Protection & Safety

4. Develop safe & appealing environments for kids programming

5. Partner with the Pastor to develop the annual budget for the entire Family Ministries program within Life Church

Administrative

1. Responsible for scheduling and managing PCO services; scheduling of volunteers for Family Ministries, Guest Services and Announcements: volunteers; sermon information and PCO calendar

2. Assist with plans for staff and board Retreats and conferences, etc.

3. Assist staff team members with development of needed systems and procedures specifically connected to PCO.

3. Give financial support and investment toward the Life Church community.

4. Be a healthy team player with the staff of Life Church and aim to protect the unity (not uniformity) of the church.

Estimated Work Hours Breakdown: 15 hours per week
